Humareso has partnered with a leading company seeking a Senior Nutritionist and Regulatory Analyst!

Responsible include labeling and Nutrition, including maintaining and creating labels for new and existing products. Create and maintain product bulletins containing ingredient declarations and nutritional facts. The Nutritionist must have general knowledge of USDA compliances and FDA Title 21 CFR. Must be able to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining accurate, detailed documentation of tasks and results.

Required Skills:

· Knowledge of Food Labeling and Dietary Regulations

Responsibilities:

· Create and edit product specifications

· Performs nutritional updates according to changes in the formula or production processes

· Assist with product trials and production in the factory.

· Collecting data for product and processing standards, yield analysis, and production issues.

· Help verify cooking instructions and qualifying cook times

· Organize and submits current labels and approvals from USDA.

· Assist with the USDA and CN application process

· Track Label process from creation to usage

Training Requirements:

Each incumbent must complete training and testing on the following topics upon hire and on an annual basis after that:

· Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)

· HACCP

· Food Safety

· Allergens

· Chemicals

· Lock Out-Tag Out

Education/Experience:

· BS in Nutrition preferred

· 3-5 years or more Foodservice related experience

· Familiarity with ESHA Genesis Nutritional Software

· MS Word and Excel
