Job Description

Our client, a family office real estate firm, is seeking a Property Manager and Operations professional to oversee the day-to-day functions of three residential building and few commercial spaces. The ideal candidate is tech savvy and has experience utilizing Appfolio, Clickup, Goggle Workspace, and Gemini. If you have an interest or background in real estate and enjoy working with a close-knit team, this could be a great opportunity to learn and grow within the space.

Salary: 70-90k base range + bonus + benefits + 401k match

Location: Onsite Monday – Friday in Midtown office

Core hours: 8:30-4:30pm

Responsibilities:

  • Track internal project progress, SOP updates, and key compliance or legal deadlines
  • Prepare reports, meeting summaries, and presentations for strategic planning
  • Serve as the first point of contact for tenant inquiries and concerns
  • Manage move-ins, move-outs, and unit turnover inspections
  • Proactively assess tenant satisfaction and propose solutions to recurring issues
  • Manage leasing cycle from listing to screening and lease execution
  • Log, prioritize, and dispatch maintenance requests
  • Track rent payments, late fees, and security deposits
  • Maintain organized records of all communications and transactions
  • Operate fluently in AppFolio, ClickUp, Google Workspace

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree
  • 3+ years in NYC property management or operations
  • NY Real Estate Salesperson License or Property Management Certification
  • Familiarity with NYC compliance, leasing law, and DHCR rent regulations
